If your name is not listed on any of the volunteer teams below or you have questions prior to the conference, then please contact Blake Chambers or Liz Lewis.

This page will be regularly updated between now and the conference.

As the Host team your role at the conference is to ensure that all participants have a positive and enjoyable experience. This includes setting up event spaces, welcoming attendees, providing information and assistance, and managing any issues or concerns that may arise. Your professionalism and attentiveness are crucial in creating a welcoming and organized environment for all attendees. Maddy & Austin Clark

Your host directors will serve as the point of contact for all team leads leading up to and during the conference. If your team does not have a team lead, then Maddy & Austin will serve as your point of contact.

Our TEams

Parking Lot Hosts

As a parking lot host at Bethesda Church, your duties include directing traffic, assisting with finding parking spots, ensuring safety regulations are followed, and providing a welcoming presence for all attendees. Your role is essential in creating a positive experience for everyone who visits the conference. After sessions, please assist our facilities team with cleaning the sanctuary of trash & resetting chairs as needed.

Registration

You will be responsible for pulling tables out prior to the start of each session and placing in kids room after each session starts. Check in each conference guest to make sure they are registered and putting wristbands on attendees as they check in (VIPs get gold bands, regular attendees get black bands). VIP ticket holders get a welcome bag as well.

SANCTUARY Hosts

As sanctuary hosts, your primary responsibility is to assist individuals in locating available seating, ensuring that VIP and reserved seating areas remain unoccupied by non-designated individuals, as well as warmly greeting and receiving participants upon their arrival at the conference. After sessions, please assist our facilities team with cleaning the sanctuary of trash & resetting chairs as needed.

Ushers

Assist with communion (Thursday session only) and offering collection (evening sessions only). After sessions, please assist our facilities team with cleaning the sanctuary of trash & resetting chairs as needed.

Merchandise

You will be responsible for making sure the merch table looks presentable, you have Squares ready prior to the doors opening for each session, and inventory restocked as needed/available. We will only be accepting card payments.

We have limited quantities of t-shirts on hand for sale, and once we run out, we ask that you direct guests to purchasing their shirts and hoodies online via QR code. T-shirts are $35 (available in sizes S-4X) Hoodies are $60 (available in sizes S-2X). All merch not physically in stock will be directly shipped to the purchaser.

The only guest speaker bringing merchandise to sell is Chad Dedmon and he will have his own separate Square account. Please do not leave Squares at the table when you close the table down during and between sessions. You may keep them in the Sound Booth when you are not present at the table.

These teams are designated to specific areas of focus. Event responsibilities and scheduling will be at the discretion of your team leader.

Event Coordinator

Tessa Chown

Tessa will be the point of contact for questions and troubleshooting for all team leaders & directors during all sessions of the event. Please see your team lead prior to directing any needs or questions to Tessa.

Cafe Divine

The cafe will only be available during the Friday afternoon VIP Session, Saturday morning & afternoon sessions.

Facilities/Janitorial

You will be responsible for the reset of the sanctuary after each session including straightening chairs, picking up trash, taking out trash and making sure the air conditioners are working properly. Also, cleaning/restocking bathrooms as needed, and sweeping the building to make sure people leave after evening sessions.

Hospitality

Assist Kimmie, our caterer, with resetting the Youth Hall after meals are completed, assisting with food prep setup/clean up (as directed by Kimmie), washing dishes and dry and put away, taking out trashes, and restocking/cleaning bathrooms. Food service will only be offered on Saturday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All volunteers must get a Food Handlers Card.
